Difference between Top-down and Bottom-up design:
Top-down design:
- proceeds from abstract entity to get concrete design.
- most often used.
- begins with top level module
- progresses downward to the lowest module.
Bottom-up design:
- proceeds from concrete design to get abstract design.
- sometimes used.
- begins with lowest level module
- progresses upward to the highest module.
